REFLECTION
During the first class, I liked this module as it is very interesting to design a logo that can create awareness for public. Therefore, I learned a lot on how to create a good and iconic logo through the guts feeling which has been mentioned in lecture. Overall, I was enjoying with this class and it has only around 10 people which is good for me as it can be easier for the lecturer to focus on every individual.

Fig 1.1, famous logos with hidden meanings
From this video, it is talking about what are the hidden meanings in those famous logos. They do this by creating interesting idents that you immediately associate with their products at first glance, most of these are just fun and colorful emblems but, when you look a little deeper into it, you will notice some of them reveal creatively hidden features.
Domino's - the square shapes look like a pizza box and the three dots would represent the first three domino's restaurant to open. The original plan was to add a new dot every time when a new outlet opened. But, the business grow so quickly that they soon left the idea behind.
Netflix - it started out in 1997, even 10 years before the first Iphone was invented. As the technology began to change, they decided to switch from dvd to onlilne streaming. They havent forgotten their origins, they include their 2014 logo update while they are big enough to be identifies by the single red letter and there's more to this letter than meets the eye. The two duller red lines crossed with the brighter red line resembles a ringlet of old film reel.
There are still more and more logos have been discovered in this video such as The Twitch Glitch, Vaio, Starbucks, Pizza Hut and so on.
